The Jewish Foundation School’s Curriculum combines excellence in Jewish and General Studies. Our Jewish and General Studies’ programming is designed to engage the interest of children on all points of the academic spectrum. At the Jewish Foundation School, learning flourishes in an environment that promotes and fosters individual academic achievement.
The Jewish Studies Curriculum sets the foundation for advanced study in the Torah, Talmud, Halacha, Jewish Law and Ethics, and Hebrew Language and imbues each child with a love and appreciation for Torah, Jewish values, heritage and culture, the State of Israel and the World Jewish Community.
The General Studies Curriculum offers an outstanding program in which students acquire the essential skills and knowledge required for independent study. Regular and Honors programs are available for General Studies, and a full-time Resource Room staffed by Special Education personnel provides individualization, remediation and enrichment. Our General Studies program is complemented by Enrichment Programs with a particular emphasis on Mathematics and Language Arts.
New Computer and Science laboratories enhance classroom instruction and enable students to become familiar with scientific principles and today’s technology.
The success of the Jewish Foundation School’s Curricula is reflected in the results of standardized testing where our students score years ahead of national norms and in national and local Science and Social Studies Fairs where our students are perennial winners.
